Body Harmony introduces a way to exercise that has all of the usual physical benefits while also encouraging self-connection and body awareness.
Movements and exercises are guided in a way your body can be listened to, respected and honoured. Gentleness and tenderness are encouraged, so strength and stamina develop without strain or over-exertion. One of the primary benefits of this approach is long-term exercise adherence; when fitness is built gradually, it is easier to enjoy and be motivated to exercise regularly. No matter how unfit, overweight, physically restricted or tired you may be it is possible to adapt and find an approach for everyone to access the healing and medicinal benefits of exercise. The ‘no pain, no gain’ mentality is simply not necessary when exercise is incorporated into your life as something you do for your whole being and not just your body.
