Remedial Massage and fascia release
Remedial MassageRemedial Massage focuses on restoring normal function and alleviating pain. It builds on relaxation massage which is great for improving circulation, by supporting deeper release of toxins and restoring muscle and fascia to their natural state. Hence the term deep tissue massage as a foundational practice in remedial massage.

Fascia ReleaseFascia is a connective tissue that wraps around muscles and joints and either inhibits or enhances how our body moves by restricting or allowing muscles to work effectively.
Fascia release can be performed over a towel at the beginning or end of the massage and also over skin during massage. It can offer a way to help stubborn tight and hardened muscle and fascia to release and allow for deeper tissue to be accessed more easily. |
