Remedial Massage and fascia release
Remedial MassageRemedial Massage is a therapy focusing on restoring normal function to our bodies by working on muscle and connective tissue.
Deep tissue release can only occur when superficial tissue is properly warmed up and released first. Remedial massage also includes a development of care and trust between the remedial massage practitioner and client. |
Fascia ReleaseAlong with Remedial massage, fascia release can be performed to ensure that the effect of the massage is global and not just local, which offers greater benefits from sessions and longer lasting adjustments in posture and movement.
Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps around muscles and there are fascial lines that connect muscles throughout the body. With correct placement of hands on these lines, tight fascia will release and this provides better access to muscles, as well as supporting muscles along these lines to re-integrate with each other. |
