Body Harmony™ classes are our hallmark movement classes that offer re-connection, body awareness, muscular strength and tension release, as well as meditation. These classes draw upon and are a combination of Simon and Deanne’s extensive background in health, yoga, meditation, exercise and energetic healing.
The physical intensity of sessions can vary depending on needs, time of day and focus of the class. All sessions have as their foundation gentleness in movement. Sessions can be restful, replenishing and or invigorating. Even in group sessions, you can tailor the intensity depending on how you feel on the day.
While Body Harmony™ classes offer a synthesis of meditation and movement, they are based on a scientific application of anatomy and physiology. The movements are designed to aid strength, stability and mobility, and the range of joint movements can be considered conservative, suitable for most and tailored for those with injuries or other physical limitations.
